This race start also time-stamped the beginning of <a id=\"ember1736\" class=\"ember-view\" href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/scott-shawyer-8a01504\/\">Scott Shawyer<\/a>&#8216;s four-year journey leading into the 2028 edition, where he will be among the sailors embarking on this incredible race\/adventure.<br><br>This time last week, Scott was immersed in the palpable emotion and unparalleled energy around this legendary fleet departure.
