Solo sailing can be lonely at times, and Scott wants to have his family close to him while he is alone at sea.<\/h5>\r\n
The foredeck of our boat displays in bright red paint her number, the number 80, representing the birth year of Scott\u2019s wife.
In maritime registry, our boat is identified as EMIRA IV<\/strong>, named after Scott\u2019s children Emma and Keira.
EMIRA also means \u201cleader\u201d or \u201cprincess\u201d, which is very fitting for a race boat.<\/h5>\r\n
To amplify our campaign purpose, in media communications and in racing, EMIRA is branded and identified as
BE WATER POSITIVE<\/strong> in support of our goal to profile our commercial partners and to raise awareness
around the promotion of new technologies, new messages, and a new way of identifying with the planet’s most valuable resource: water.<\/h5>\r\n
